Giving our youth leadership skills for a bright future.

Next Generation Leaders Program
The Next Generation Leaders Program (NGLP) of the Greater Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross was created for the purpose of developing high achieving, diverse young leaders across Monroe County at the high school level.

The goals of the program include:

  • To actively involve youth (ages 14-18) in all aspects of the Red Cross through leadership
development training and engagement in service learning activities directly related to the
needs of the community and the mission of the Red Cross.
  • Support all Monroe County school districts in providing high quality, high impact schoolbased
programming that compliments the NYS Learning Standards.
  • Prepare youth in gaining the opportunity to compete for National Red Cross Scholarships
    and scholarships available community wide.
