SAFETY TRAINING
Standard First Aid with Adult CPR/AED—Blended (Online) Learning
This course is a combination of web-based learning and an instructor-led skills session.
It is designed to be flexible and self-paced. The first portion is completed online. This allows students to learn, review, and be assessed on the information before proceeding to the skills application. The second portion is the instructor-led skills session done in a classroom.
The purpose of this course is to give individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies. Topics also include basic care for injuries and sudden illness for adults, and use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest.
