When an emergency strikes, every second counts. Knowing how to help can mean the difference between life and death. That's why the American Red Cross urges everyone to be prepared to respond to life-threatening situations by taking safety training classes.

The Greater Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross offers a wide range of safety classes at locations throughout Monroe and West Ontario counties.

Each year in the United States accidents occur in the workplace and people become ill. With safety training, your employees can avoid or prevent workplace mishaps and respond to emergencies.

Appropriate attire

Dress comfortably. Depending on the class, you may be kneeling on the floor or practicing techniques that call for flexible, casual clothes.

Payment notes
All courses must be paid for at the time of registration. You can register online with Visa, MasterCard, or American Express; or you can call us at (800) 522-1277 to register by phone. Course fees are subject to change.

Refunds

Full refund of the class fee will be made if the request to be withdrawn from the class is made at least 72 hours prior to the class date and start time. No refund will be given if the withdrawal request is made less than 72 hours prior to the class date and start time. However, a one-time transfer into another class is allowed at no additional charge.
