RED CROSS DISASTER TEAM RESPONDS TO FIRE AT
198 & 208 TRAFALGAR STREET

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Friday, October 23, 2009 - Red Cross volunteers were called to a house fire at 198 and 208 Trafalgar Street this morning. Red Cross Disaster Service volunteers responded to the scene to aid two families; two female adults ages 28 and 35 years old and a mother and son ages 63 (son) and 96 (mother.) Red Cross volunteers also conducted a damage assessment of the homes. At this time, the Red Cross is providing emergency assistance of shelter, food, and clothing to all of the residents.

All disaster assistance is free, made possible by generous donations from the public. Donations allow the Red Cross to pay for shelter, food, clothing, and more from the Local Disaster Relief Fund.  You can help disaster victims too by making a gift to the Red Cross. Go to www.RochesterRedCross.org today or call us at 585-241-4417.
