RED CROSS ADDS DEFINITIONISMS TO YOUR WARDROBE
GIVE A LITTLE GET A T-SHIRT HELP DISASTER VICTIMS

Look for the Sleeves in Local Coffee Shops

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Tuesday, October 13, 2009 – The Greater Rochester Red Cross is dressing the community for a donation with Definitionisms and 13 local coffee shops are helping. Now through December anyone who goes to www.RochesterRedCross.org/coffee and makes a $20 donation may choose a T-shirt with one of four unique support-related words and their meanings printed on it.

Definitionisms T-Shirts:
1. charitabolosity: a state of big-heartedness that inspires the giving of modest amounts of money to a worthy cause.
2. giftastic: a state of exceeding generosity associated with meeting a significant need for not a lot of money.
3. generositarian: an individual known to donate money to worthy charities after consuming delicious coffeehouse beverages.
4. donatalicious: a euphoric sense of accomplishment produced from giving a modest sum to a worthy charity.

“The Definitionisms campaign is a fun play on words and a unique way to reach young professionals by going to them – in the coffee shops,” said John Buttrill, CEO of the Greater Rochester Red Cross. “All donations support the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which allows us to help people get back on their feet with shelter, food, clothing and more after a fire or other disaster. Since October 1, we have responded to eight fires and helped 25 individuals from 12 families.”
