RED CROSS DISASTER TEAM RESPONDS TO 2 FIRES

 

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Wednesday, July 22, 2009 - The Red Cross is helping two families (six people) get back on their feet after they were burned out of their homes due to fires. The Red Cross is proving emergency services of shelter, food, and clothing to the families.

 

15 Otis Street, Rochester, NY – 7/21/09 8:30 p.m.
Red Cross volunteers were called to a house fire at 15 Otis Street last night. Red Cross Disaster Service volunteers responded to the scene to aid three adults and one child and conducted a damage assessment of the home. At this time, the Red Cross is providing emergency assistance of shelter, food and clothing to the family.

 

77 Stonecrest Drive, Greece, NY – 7/22/09 4 a.m.
Red Cross volunteers were called to a house fire at 77 Stonecrest Drive in Greece early this morning. Red Cross Disaster Service volunteers responded to the scene to aid one adult and a child and conducted a damage assessment of the home. At this time, the Red Cross is providing emergency assistance of food and clothing to the family.
