“Families rely on the Red Cross to help them through some of the most difficult times of their lives,” said Judith Bennett, Director of the West Ontario Red Cross. “Duffers for Disaster allow us to continue helping people burned out of their homes. The Red Cross spends nearly $12,000 in direct assistance and response to house fires alone in our community. The disaster relief fund enables us to provide emergency assistance of shelter, food, clothing, counseling, and more to families and individuals who suffer loss due to fires and disasters in the West Ontario area.”
