ROCHESTER, N.Y., Thursday, July 23-The Red Cross is helping five families (16 people) get back on their feet after they were burned out of their homes the past two days. The Red Cross is proving emergency services of shelter, food, and clothing to the families.
303 Penhurst Street, Rochester, NY – 7/23/09 2:15 a.m.
Red Cross volunteers were called to a house fire at 303 Penhurst St. early this morning. Red Cross Disaster Service volunteers responded to the scene to aid three adults and two children and conducted a damage assessment of the home. At this time, the Red Cross is providing emergency assistance of shelter, food and clothing to the two families.
1799 North Goodman Street, Rochester, NY – 7/22/09 6:15 p.m.
Red Cross volunteers were called to a house fire at 1799 N. Goodman St. last night. Red Cross Disaster Service volunteers responded to the scene to aid two adults and three children and conducted a damage assessment of the home. At this time, the Red Cross is providing emergency assistance of food to the family.
77 Stonecrest Drive, Greece, NY – 7/22/09 4 a.m.
Red Cross volunteers were called to a house fire at 77 Stonecrest Drive in Greece early yesterday morning. Red Cross Disaster Service volunteers responded to the scene to aid one adult and a child and conducted a damage assessment of the home. At this time, the Red Cross is providing emergency assistance of food and clothing to the family.
15 Otis Street, Rochester, NY – 7/21/09 8:30 p.m.
Red Cross volunteers were called to a house fire at 15 Otis Street Tuesday night. Red Cross Disaster Service volunteers responded to the scene to aid three adults and one child and conducted a damage assessment of the home. At this time, the Red Cross is providing emergency assistance of shelter, food and clothing to the family.
