Livonia Redemption Center collects cans for a cause
LIVONIA, N.Y., Friday, August 19, 2011—The Livonia Redemption Center will be presenting a giant check to the American Red Cross next week as a result of a special bottle and can collection for a good cause.
During the month of July, James and Chimene Gregorius, owners of Livonia Redemption Center, urged customers to bring in their cans and bottles for redemption with all proceeds benefiting Red Cross disaster relief. The turnout was terrific, and as a result, the Gregoriuses will be providing the Red Cross with a check for $310 this Monday.
“We’re thrilled with the response from the community,” said James Gregorius.
Media are invited to attend the check presentation ceremony on Monday, August 22 at the Livonia Redemption Center at 10 a.m. The Livonia Redemption Center is located at 5915 Big Tree Road in Lakeville NY.
