Four additional local Red Cross volunteers depart for Memphis

 

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Monday, May 09, 2011—Four additional volunteers are departing for Memphis to assist with the cleanup after spring storm devastation. The following individuals will depart today for up to fourteen days:

  • Jim Ahearn of Greece will act as Disaster Mental Health Supervisor.
  • Lucy Everett of Rochester and Sarah Bergeron of Avon will act as Shelter Supervisors.
  • Anita Perovich of Conesus will function as a Shelter Service Associate.

Ahearn will depart at 2:35 p.m. today. Everett, Perovich, and Bergeron will depart from Greater Rochester International Airport at 5:40 p.m. today. Red Cross volunteers will be available for interview at the Greater Rochester International Airport 90 minutes before their flight time.
