Lobster Trap 

When: Every Friday in March! 
Where: 871 Fairport Rd., East Rochester
What: The Lobster Trap is donating 10% of  proceeds raised on Fridays in March to the Disaster Relief Fund
 
Avon Fundraiser Supports Your Local Red Cross
When: Monday, March 1 - Sunday, March 28
Where: Shop online and benefit the Red Cross in your area!
What: 30% of the proceeds raised will support the Disaster Relief Fund within the Finger Lakes Region

Help Base Greater Rochester Youth Classes Available to children of military families only

When: Saturday, March 13 - Babysitters Course: 9 am-4:30 pm; Safe on Your Own: 10 am - 12 pm

Where: Canandaigua VA Medical Center 400 Fort Hill Avenue, Canandaigua

What: FREE to children whose parents or guardians are service members (Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, or Veterans.)

What: Informational seminar about the effects and challenges that service members and their families face during and after returning from combat.

Cognitive Processing Therapy Training

When: Thursday, March 25 8:30am-6pm & Friday, March 26 8am-5pm
Where: Greater Rochester Red Cross, 50 Prince St.
What: A two-day webcast will be broadcast live via the Institute of Disaster Mental Health at SUNY New Paltz. CPT is $175 and will be led by Patricia A. Resick, Ph.D and is particularly useful for those working with veterans experiencing PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) or those who work in Disaster Mental Health roles.
