This course focuses on the adult victim and provides single-rescuer CPR training. The participant will learn skills such as how to respond to choking, perform rescue breathing, and recognize and prevent heart attacks and strokes as well as how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

This course is a combination of web-based learning and an instructor-led skills session. It is designed to be flexible and self-paced. The first portion is completed online. This allows students to learn, review and be assessed on the information before proceeding to the skills application. The second portion is the instructor-led skills session done in a classroom. These skill sessions are what are listed on line. Give yourself at least two weeks to complete the online session before your instructor session.

This course is designed to train dog and cat owners how to respond to life-threatening emergencies such as choking, poisoning, and exposure to extreme weather conditions. Use life-like dog and cat manikins to learn how to perform pet CPR and First Aid, recognize symptoms, and provide care for common pet emergencies such as allergic reactions and car accidents. Cost is $35/student and $20 for one additional family member.
